Welcome To The Short Video Domination Training Area!

Why Short Videos?

Short videos are not only easy to make but they are also easy to digest for the viewer.

Not everyone has 10-20 minutes to sit down and watch a video, but they might have a few minutes. So they are more likely to watch shorter videos in that time.

Short videos are long enough to get your message across, educate and get viewers to take action.

Some of the most popular TikTok'ers for example, have built millions of followers, simply by posting 20-60 second videos. And they now make millions of dollars doing it.

As you can see, the average earnings of the top TikTok stars range from $1.2 million to $5 million a year.

And it's not just TikTok, where you can build up millions of followers.

Jake Fellman has 5 million followers on YouTube.

All his videos are SHORT videos and just look at how many views they get!

Here are a few examples of people using short videos to build millions of followers:

In Summary - Short videos can get you an unlimited amount of followers, leads and new customers for your business.

You just need to get started

Creating Your Short Videos

The great thing about short videos is that they are so easy to create. Just be aware that the videos must be VERTICAL videos, not horizontal videos.

Here are several options you have:

#1 - Use Your Smartphone

These days, most of us have smartphones with built in cameras. These are ideal to film short videos.

You can either talk into the camera, or flip the camera to point at a computer screen or whiteboard.

#2 - Video Creation Software

There is a tool called Pictory, which creates all types of professional videos including vertical short videos.

All you need to do is add the text you want, choose which backgrounds to display, add a built in voice or use your own voice and then Pictory will produce a professional video ready to be uploaded right away.

Here's a video walkthrough of how it works:

Video Creation Tips

Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your short videos:

#1 - Grab Attention Fast

You only have the first 5 seconds to grab the attention of a viewer. Therefore, it's important to tell them what they are about to watch.

Don't introduce yourself, just jump right into the introduction, so that people know if to stay or leave.

#2 - Be Entertaining

To keep the attention of your viewers, you should try not to create boring videos.

Use multiple camera angles and clips to keep the attention going.

#3 - Use Call To Actions

If you want to get RESULTS from your videos, then you need to tell people what actions you want to take.

You can do this at the end or even throughout your videos.

Some popular call to actions can be:

  • Click the link below to learn more
  • Be sure to Subscribe to my channel
  • Click the link in my bio
  • Follow me for more tips
  • Share this video with your friends

You get the idea.

Share your information, then lead people to the next logical step.

Popular Social Platforms

Now that you know how to create your videos, let's look at the top platforms where you can upload them to build your following.

#1 - YouTube

YouTube is the second biggest search engine in the world, behind Google. Millions of people use it each month to search for information.

Recently, they introduced the 'Short Shelf' on mobile devices. This is where they display videos up to 60 seconds in length, that are made specifically for that area.

All you need to do is create 10-60 second vertical videos and then when you upload them, use the tag #Shorts in the title or description.

YouTube then knows it's a short video and may display it to users in their Short Shelf.

Use a short 4-5 word headline that grabs the attention of viewers. You need to stop them scrolling past your video.

#2 - TikTok

TikTok has exploded in popularity and has millions of users.

It's primarily a mobile app, so that's the best way to use the platform. Simply download the app on your smartphone or tablet, it's available for Apple and Android devices.

You create your videos within the app, or you can upload ones directly from your device.

The key with TikTok, is to use hashtags in your description, that are related to the content you are sharing.

With a Creator account, you can also use viral sounds to get more views on your videos.

#3 - Instagram Reels

Like the YouTube Short Shelf, Instagram Reels are also relatively new.

You can use your regular Instagram app to upload short videos that go in your Reels section.

Like TikTok, use hashtags that are related to the content you are sharing.

#4 - Pinterest

Pinterest can also be used to share videos, along with images.

You may need to upgrade to a free business account to do this but it's well worth doing for the extra free exposure.

You can upload videos using a standard browser and also place links directly in the description of each post.

Summary

There is a MASSIVE opportunity right now to generate tons of leads and sales using short videos.

The social platforms are desperate for quality content and will gladly push your videos, if you create them well.

You don't have to use all platforms, you can choose just one. The main thing is to be consistent and post on a regular schedule. This will see more followers/subscribers and you'll get momentum with each new video.

Good luck in your short video domination!
